I finally found my staple products (yay)! These are some of the conditioners...shampoos....oils...and moisturizers that I tried out in my search for the perfect products for my hair. I finally decided to go all organic with my conditioners and poos. It's one of the the best choice that I've made for my hair. Conditioners with synthetics just don't work for me.

* * It was ok...
* * * Pretty good!
* * * * Works well!
* * * * * Excellent!!!

Aubrey Organics Jojoba Aloe Desert Herb Revitalizing Conditioner - I cannot say enough wonderful things about this conditioner! I wish that I had it @ the beginning of my transition! This is super moisturizing...leaves my hair oh so soft...and is very detangling! I can safely say that it is one of the best conditioners that I've ever tried. * * * * *

Asha's Naturals Sunkissed - This is a great alternative to Carol's Daughter Kizzy. It is a light pomade with natural ingredients. It has a light scent (like Juicy Fruit bubble gum)...and doesn't way hair down like other pomades. It's pretty moisturizing...and leaves your hair with a nice sheen to it. Best of all...to be such a great pomade the cost of this won't break the bank!* * * * *

Garnier Fructis Fortifying Cream Conditioner (for fine hair)- My buddy Amy (aka brickhouse) kept raving about this conditioner to me. I decided to pick up the one for fine hair...mainly because it didn't contain any cones. I really liked this conditioner at first...but it left my ends super frizzy! It's a good detangler though...and I like the smell! It's a bit on the watery side. * *

Rysell Tropical Coconut Hair Treatment- This is really my first time using a Dominican conditioner. There had been so many raves about this one...that I just had to try it. When sickbay.biz finally got it in stock...it sold out before I could get my hands on a jar of it! This was sort of moisturizing...but it ended up weighing my relaxed ends down. * *

Natures Wild Child Virgin Oil de Coco-Crème- This is a nice light coconut oil. It's extra virgin...and best of all...it smells like coconuts! * * * *

Natures Wild Child African Natural Shea Butter -It is unrefined...and is great for moisturizing ends. I wouldn't use this as an all over moisturizer though because like with all shea butter...it is pretty greasy. * * * *

Dabur Amla Hair Oil- Since Sajid sent me these Indian oils...I can't get enough of them! My mother was using this one at first. The fact that it contained Mineral Oil and other oils other than Amla turned me off. I started having some breakage...and decided to hijack it from her. This stuff works wonders! My breakage has slowed when I tried it out. I would use it again. * * *

Dabur Anmol Coconut Oil- I love this oil! It smells like coconut...and is very moisturizing (heavy) . It is formulated for hair...and I could probably go a day or two without having to oil my ends when I use it. It lasts for a long time. * * * * *

Parachute Coconut Oil- This is another moisturizing oil (heavy)...It's great for scalp massages, but I don't care for the smell too much. It works...so I will take the health benefits over the smell. * * * *

Dabur Vatika Coconut hair Oil- Yet another great oil, but this one is enriched with Henna and Amla oil. :) I was using this in my hair every day...but it started to make my hair a lighter color. Now I use it for my hot oil treatment. * * * * *

Carol's Daughter Hair Milk- When I first tried this on my relaxed hair...I gave it a really bad review. It gave my hair a weighed down greasy feeling...and I just didn't care for it. I have rediscovered it as a transitioner though. My curls just bounce! It leaves my hair very shoft and shiny. * * * *

Keracare Dry Itchy Scalp Conditioner & Shampoo- In the Winter and Summer of 2003 when I was relaxed, I was suffering from a dry...flaky scalp. I decided to order a bottle of this...and it really works. I used it for about 2 weeks straight...and it quickly eliminated the problem. I would recommended this to anyone that has a problem with a dry scalp. I haven't needed to use this since then! * * * *

Keracare Humecto Conditioner- I love this conditioner as a relaxed head... I decided to re-visit it again as a transitioner...but it did nothing for my transitioning hair. It made my new growth feel coated and dry. The relaxed ends looked good though * *

Keracare Detangling Shampoo - Used this as a realxed head. This is a great detangler. It is not drying at all, and you only need a little of this to work up a good lather. * * * * *

Tigi Bed Head Health Goddess- I like the fact that this contains Vitamin A, B5, C and E. Once upon a time...I used this in my home made sprits. It's an ok leave-in...I didn't really notice any change in my hair. You have to follow up with a good moisturizing leave-in. But if you want the benefits of vitamins...I say give it a try. * *

Tigi Bed Head Ego Boost Split Ender Mender- OK...this just DOES NOT work for my hair. I ended up having more split ends than I started with. It made the tips of my ends very hard...and I had an increase in breakage with this product. It isn't very moisturizing...and it contains PVP...which is a liquid plastic that is said to cause cancer. I will be staying far away from this one. It seems to work in other people's hair...but I will be leaving this one alone!

Alberto VO5 Strawberries & Cream, Tangerine Tickle- I was really hoping that these conditioners worked out for me. They have a wonderful smell...and they are at wonderful price (usually 99.cents and less). Both the Tangerine Tickle...and Strawberries and cream left my hair feeling stripped...and super dry. My ends came out frizzy too. I took the advice of someone that posted that these conditioners make good shaving gels. This person was right! It sucked on my hair...but both make really great shaving gels. Now they won't go to waste!

Suave Naturals Milk & Honey Conditioner- Since there were so many raves about this one...you know I had to try it. It's not very thick....it has a good smell...and detangles though. This is another conditioner that eventually stopped working for me. * *

Suave Naturals Tropical Coconut Conditioner- I like this conditioner too. It has a lot of good ingredients like silk protein...honey...and coconut extract, but it isn't very detangling though. * * *

Aubrey Organics Island Naturals Butter Shampoo- Ok...the ingredients in this shampoo are great. It cleanses the scalp well...wonderful oils...nothing harsh...but it is not detangling at all. I first used this when I was 3 months post relaxer. It was great....but after that...it tends to tangle the hair. It must be followed up with a detangling conditioner...or else you will have a serious mess on your hands! I always make sure that I have my hair in four braids before using it. * * * *

Aubrey Organics GPB (Glycogen Protein Balancer) - I can't say enough wonderful things about this conditioner! It is moisturizing...detangling...it strengthens the hair...and it contains wonderful NATURAL ingredients. It is also thick and creamy. Great to use whenever you need a good protein treatment. * * * * *

Pantene Pro-V Shampoo & Conditioner- I decided to give both the shampoo and conditioner a try. It left me with a dry flaky scalp ( I had only used it for 2 days!). The shampoo contains 5 types of alcohol (which I'm sure is the cause of the dryness). I will not be using the Pantene line again.

Profective Healthy Ends- This is pretty good for smoothing hair...but is is SUPER greasy. When I first tried this out...I wasn't using it on a daily basis. My hair doesn't really respond to leave-in conditioners. It is a lot thicker than I had expected. * *

Neutrogena Daily Deep Conditioner- Very moisturizing...wonderful scent...very thick and creamy. It contains a lot of cones though...so natural or transitioning curly girls may not like it. * * *

Neutrogena Silk touch Leave-In Cream- I really never used this as a leave in conditioner on a regular basis. I only used it when I did bantu-knot sets (it's great for them). It's thick and creamy...and best of all it's not that expensive. It has a great scent too. smells like melons. It's pretty moisturizing...but that could be because it contains cones. * * *

Neutrogena Triple Moisture Cream Lather Shampoo- This is a great shampoo! It detangles...and you get a great lather from it just by using a small amount. It's not drying at all. * * * * *

Dove Intense Moisture Conditioner- It is intense moisture. This conditioner left my hair so soft. I like it a lot...but it isn't as detangling as other conditioners that I've used. It gave my curls a lot of definition. * * *

Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner- I liked this a lot. It is very thick...and smelled like honey and coconuts. I only stopped using it because of the price ($10+). It doesn't really do anything that cheapy conditioners can't do. I had to order this online...so with shipping and handling...the price can really add up! It is very hydrating though! * * *
